Beale Street Dinner Tour

5:30 pm depart from your Memphis area hotel.

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm our Sweet Magnolia Tours’ professional tour guide will meet your group on Beale Street at 6:00 pm & take them on a brief 30 minute tour of historic Beale St. and downtown. At 6:30 pm the group will go to Alfred’s Restaurant on Beale or B.B. KIng's for dinner & entertainment. After dinner the group can remain enjoying the live music until 10:00 pm when it is time to return to your hotel. (All times are flexible to meet the group’s needs.)

Beale Street is one of America's most famous streets where W.C. Handy first penned the Blues music of the Mississippi Delta. Located downtown stretching several blocks east of the river bluffs. Nightclubs and restaurants offer a variety of food and live music including traditional Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, and Rock'n'Roll. Shops and boutiques throughout the district provide visitors with the opportunity to purchase souvenirs, t-shirts, memorabilia, and novelties. The world-famous street also features a statue of W.C. Handy, a musical "Walk of Fame," and Church Park, built by the South's first Black millionaire, Robert Church. Visit A. Schwab's Dry Goods Store at 163 Beale, a mainstay on the street since 1876, Schwab's stocks everything from voodoo potions to 99-cent neckties
