Come explore the mystery and majesty of America’s greatest river - the Mighty Mississippi - in a unique, new museum, ecopark, and lunch cruise with a narrated history of the region. You'll also stop at either a factory outlet mall for great shopping or at one of the casino's for a chance to test your luck.

Depart your Memphis hotel at 9:30 am with one of our experienced tour guides who will tell you about the history & lore of North Mississippi. You will travel through some of the world's richest farmland along the historic Highway 61 (known as America's Blues Alley).

Arrive at 10:30 am right in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, the Tunica RiverPark, which offers a new learning experience like no other. The RiverPark Museum is an extensive, one-of-a-kind interactive, interpretive center that showcases the legend and the life of the river and its history. From the architecturally stunning new overlook, you’ll enjoy a view of “America’s River” up close.

Overlooking the Mississippi River from a harbor on the river’s eastern bank, the museum features interpretive exhibits focusing on the relationships of the Delta, its wildlife, the levee system and the economic impact on the region. There is a 48-foot outdoor observation platform with spectacular views of the river. Inside is climate controlled, closed circuit viewing of wildlife in its natural environment and four large aquariums with native aquatic life. Beside the museum is 130 acres of Delta riverside forest with walking trails.

At 12:15 you will board the Tunica Queen Riverboat where you will experience the Mighty Mississippi with all of the grace and charm of the golden era of river boating on a brand new paddle wheeler. You will enjoy the beauty and luxury of a classic 19th-century riverboat while relaxing in the air-conditioned comforts of the 21st-century. The richly appointed interior decks provide gracious southern charm and comfortable seating throughout, while their open-air top deck provides you with an unobstructed view of the river. You’ll see a video which provides an in-depth look at the rich and colorful river boating era. You will create your own piled-high deli-style sandwiches and help yourselves from a number of fresh salads available on their self-serve deli-line.

After disembarking at 2:00 pm you now have three options.

1. You can enjoy some outstanding outlet shopping or go to one of the casino's from 2:00 to 4:30. Then depart for Memphis arriving back at your hotel around 5:30 pm.
2. You can go to one of the casino's from 2:00 to 4:30. Then depart for Memphis arriving back at your hotel around 5:30 pm.
3. There is another add-on option for the gambling choice. You can stay another two hours & receive a free buffet dinner at the casino. This will put you back at your Memphis hotel at 7:30 pm.
