Week Day Tour to Tupelo Aug 14: $72
per person any age. Visit Tupelo, the Birthplace
of Elvis Presley, with Sweet Magnolia Tours.
Your day of fun begins on the way to Tupelo
when you compete with other fans for prizes
on our Elvis Traveling Trivia Contest. At mid-morning
you will arrive at Elvis Presley Park where
you will visit the Birthplace, Chapel, Museum,
and Elvis Boyhood Church. A picnic box lunch
will be provided. Following lunch your guide
will take you on an “All Elvis”
Tupelo City tour featuring special a stop at
Tupelo Hardware where Gladys bought Elvis his
first guitar. New this year is a tour of Elvis'
boyhood church recently moved to Elvis Presley
Park. This excellent fully escorted trip includes
box lunch, all admissions, deluxe round trip
transportation and trivia contest with prizes.

of the stars, movie locations, recording studios,
gospel churches, & much more. Begins &
ends on Beale St. Transportation to & from
Beale St is not included. Operates Sun, Tue,
Thu, Fri, & Sat at 2:30 pm.

hour All Elvis tour of Memphis -
$65 per person minimum 2 persons (adult or
child). Elvis, himself gave the first "Elvis"
tour of Memphis because he loved to show his
friends where he worked, played and lived.
This special Elvis tour will drive by or stop
at approximately 25 places including Lauderdale
Courts, Humes High School, Hotel Chisca, the
Thunderbird Lounge, Pop Tune s,
Memphian Theater, Mid-South Coliseum, Libertyland,
the Overton Park Band Shell, First Assembly
of God (his church), Forest Hill Cemetery
and many more.

Tour to Elvis' Birthplace in Tupelo:
$135 per person min 2 (adult or child). You
will be picked up at your hotel at 9:00 AM and
driven an hour and a half to the town where
Elvis Presley was born. The first destination
in Tupelo is the Elvis Presley Birthplace Park.
You will tour the actual home, the renovated
museum, the chapel, and the landscape grounds.
Then
you visit the other places which were part of
Elvis' life in
Tupelo.
Ten of those places are marked with an historic
plaque. These places include Lawhon Elementary
School, Johnnie's Drive- In, Tupelo Hardware,
and Milam Junior High. Other places on your
tour included the former locations of the Shakerag
neighborhood, Mayhorn's grocery, site of WELO
radio broadcasting, the Assembly of God Church
and the Fairgrounds. Usually you will eat lunch
(not included in the price) at Johnnie's Drive-In
and step inside Lawhon Elementary (with permission
of the school officials). You will go inside
Tupelo Hardware which is owned and managed by
the same family who founded the store. Your
last stop is Priceville Cemetery and, depending
on the weather, walk to the approximate location
of Jesse Garon's grave, Elvis' brother. Return
to Memphis and your hotel by 5:00 or 5:30
pm.

Tour to Birthplace of the Blues, Clarksdale:
$135
per person min 2 (adult or child). You
will be picked up at your hotel at 9:00 AM and
driven an hour and a half
to
the town where Blues was born. From the 30's
on through the 50's Clarksdale was a major blues
town. John Lee Hooker, Ike Turner, Little Junior
Parker and Sam Cooke were born here. Robert
Nighthawk, Bukka White, "Gatemouth"
Moore, Eddie Boyd, Son House and Charley Patton
all once lived in the area. Clarksdale became
the center of the blues world by virtue of its
location smack in the middle of the Delta and
Delta blues still comes from this source. You
will tour the Delta Blues Museum, which is dedicated
to creating a welcoming place where visitors
find meaning, value, and perspective by exploring
the history and heritage of the unique American
musical art form of the blues. You can stop
for lunch (not included in the price) at the
famuos "juke joint", Ground Zero Blues
Club owned by the well known actor, Morgan Freeman.
Additionally you will visit Hopson Plantation,
where the first mechanical cotton picker was
used. Return to Memphis and your hotel by 5:00
or 5:30.

available shuttle hourly from 11:00 am to 6:00
pm between Heartbreak Hotel, Graceland, Sun
